Christmas Gift Guide for the Whole Family

Get ahead of the Christmas shopping rush with the ultimate Christmas gift guide for the festive season ahead!

Create wonderful memories this Christmas with thoughtful gifts that will surprise your nearest and dearest. Swerve the shops filled with uninspiring, easy gifts and add a personal touch that will be treasured. In this guide I will look at some creative and fun Christmas gift ideas that should hopefully inspire you to put more thought into your gifts this year. Many of our items are budget-friendly and will help you make this Christmas one to remember for years to come.

Craftit!

There is nothing more meaningful than receiving a gift from someone who clearly had you in mind when creating it. These kinds of Christmas gift ideas can be so simple, such as a handwritten letter, or a simple scrapbook filled with pictures and wonderful memories. No matter what the expense is, a gift that has been physically made for you will always impact in a stronger way than any gift just bought at the shop. Here’s a few creative ideas from our Christmas gift guide to show your loved ones just how much they really mean to you.

Drink-to-it!

Dads, Uncles, and Grandfathers are among the most difficult to buy gifts for. One of our favourite options in our Christmas gift guide is a personalised beer or cider collection with a glass or two and their favourite snacks. For extra brownie points, match the beer to the glass, and they'll get the maximum flavour out of their chosen drink, while you can sit back safe in the knowledge that it'll get used frequently. Our Noniq glasses are some of our most popular along with the Pilsner glass from LAV.

Bakeit!

Nothing says Christmas more than baking, especially treats that include cinnamon or mixed spice. The scents that they release while cooking is second-to-none when thinking about the festive season. Show your nearest and dearest how much you care while mixing up a batch of gingerbread or snowball cookies as the perfect edible gift. Keep them fresher for longer by popping them in our embossed heart or classic storage jars where the silicone seal creates an airtight seal.

Frameit!

Create a thoughtful gift for a loved one and select your favourite photos from years gone by. Create a collage in one of our larger frames or choose a smaller frame to showcase a single image. After all, no-one wants to receive an empty photo frame. Check out our blog here for other great ideas to fill our popular box photo frames. You can also get creative and press flowers to create a unique gift that will last a lifetime.

Plantit!

Bring the outdoors in with our Christmas gift guide and gift a plant or two for your friend to look after. Maybe you have a spider plant or aloe vera plant that you can propagate and plant into smaller pots, these plants both love warm environments with plenty of light. Why not choose one of our reactive glaze pots, with or without a stand for those family members who have a modern décor throughout their home. For those with a cottage garden feel, our patterned pots will fit right in. Our pots are available in a range of colours. Alternative plant options include cacti or succulents that can be displayed in our beautiful glass terrariums.

Createit!

We all have that one family member who simply cannot live without hot chocolates, especially during the winter months. So why not gift them their very own hot chocolate station that they can put on display in their kitchen or on a sideboard. We love these square glass storage jars, which create a modern look. Stock them with their favourite marshmallows, chocolate flakes, extra sprinkles, and, most importantly, hot chocolate powder, or chocolate shavings if that is more their style. To make the station easily movable, you could include a beautiful serving tray that matches in with their décor. You can personalise the glass storage jars with labels or tags, and it is sure to bring a smile to your loved one’s face. We almost forgot...they'll need a mug to make their hot chocolate in, choose from a huge range of patterned, plain, big, or small mugs to suit the recipient of your gift.

Findit!

It can be challenging trying to shop for the person who seems to have everything. Why not bundle together a hamper of their favourite things, biscuits, clay face masks, and more. You can finish off the hamper by including a candle, diffuser or combined set that will bring a new scent into their life, and one that will remind them of you. We have a wide range of options now with brands including Bramble Bay and Peppermint Grove. Choose from fresh, fruity, floral, woodland or sugar & spice scents to suit their personality.

Well, that just about wraps our Christmas gift guide (pun intended), I hope this has given you some inspiration on making a more creative and meaningful Christmas for the whole family this year.
